Our History

Better known by its brand name, Racing Boy was first established by Mr. Lee Meng Tek, a humble mechanic from Bukit Mertajam, Pulau Pinang. In 1995, this brand has been registered under a company called Asian Alloy Enterprise. Since a teenager, Mr. Lee himself was a motorcycle enthusiast. On the strength of his interest, he harbored a dream of owning a business dealing with motorcycle parts and accessories for low capacity engines. He is always optimistic about the market. Hence, he started his own business journey in year 1995.

As a beginner, Mr. Lee invested limited amount of capital. He truly put a lot of efforts to survey and study on the local motorcycle industry. He sees the needs of motorcyclists. Thus, he has imported spare parts and accessories from Thailand to cater for Underbone motorcycles.  Although small-scale business, he always put his best foot forward to grab a better opportunity. Survey to survey; finally, he realized his business needs to grow faster in every aspect in order to meet the demand of a fast growing industry.

In 1998, Mr. Lee has made up his mind to expand his business by moving the Racing Boy brand to the city of Malaysia with his two dearest brothers. They re-registered the brand under a new private limited company named Meng Kah Auto Parts Trading Sdn. Bhd (MKA). Henceforth, the three brothers agreed to undergo a restructuring exercise in the company. By introducing Racing Boy as the main in-house brand, they intend to widen the range of motorcycle parts and accessories.

With the objective of their own Racing Boy product design, the three brothers have been trying their luck in China. Sincerity brings them good luck. They managed to gain trust from an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) in Shanghai. MKA company has signed an MOU with the OEM in 2001. It is a good starting point for the Racing Boy brand to move towards globalization in the future. With trendy designs and latest technologies, the company begins to produce quality features. In addition to good quality, MKA also emphasizing the elements of comfort and security in their products.

From time to time, Racing Boy brand has gained certainty from the motorcycle owners. It is not strange anymore and the brand started to penetrate into the minds of fans. Racing Boy brand is not only an important icon in local motorcycle parts and accessories industry, but it is also the idols of Asia championship racers. There is no doubt for MKA as a top leader in Malaysia’s motorcycle accessories market, even in Southeast Asia countries. MKA will continue to participate actively in efforts to improve quality and diversify their products.
