Throttle Valve

Throttle Slide or Throttle Valve is the main device that is activated by the accelerator pedal to regulate the amount of fuel/air mixture entering the engine. It is a rotating disc which is located below the Venturi. It will rotate to block the air flow. The Throttle Valve controls 0% to 35% of the throttle opening. Thus, the quantity of air/fuel mixture will thereby regulate the engine power and speed.

Uma Racing Throttle Valves are made from high quality alloy for strength and durability. Each of the Throttle Valve has numbers on it that explains how much the cutaway is. It is available in sizes 3.5mm, 4mm, 4.5mm and 5mm. The larger the cutaway, the leaner the mixture (since more air is allowed through it) and the smaller the cutaway, the richer the mixture will be.
